C.A.R.E.’s Seniors for Seniors pet adoption program connects our community with resident senior dogs and cats. Research shows the companionship of a pet can improve both health and happiness, and we want to make adoption easy for older adults.
Why Adopt A Senior Pet?
-
Senior pets are often more calm and come with prior training.
-
Pets of all ages can increase a person’s physical and social activity.
-
Senior pets are often overlooked at shelters, but make great company (a win-win!).
Adoption fees are reduced to $25 for adopters 65 and over, adopting a shelter pet 7-years and over.
All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, microchipped, and come with a comprehensive blood panel.
Our team is here to help you find your new best friend and offer ongoing support to provide a smooth transition. View our pets currently available for adoption on our website, or give our team a call (and be sure to mention our Seniors for Seniors program!).
