Colorado Animal Rescue is a proud partner of Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit organization connecting retired and active duty military members with shelter pets nationwide. We are working together to save lives through companion pet adoption by uniting pets who are often overlooked in shelters with Veterans to help reduce the impacts of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and loneliness.
C.A.R.E. is reducing adoption fees to $25 for Pets for Patriots program participants.
Pets who are eligible for adoption through the Pets for Patriots Program include

Dog or cat, at least 2 years of age OR
-
Dog or cat with special needs OR
-
Dog or cat in the shelter with a 6 month stay or longer OR
-
Dog that is 40+ pounds at adoption
