Sully’s Tale

3-year-old Sully arrived at C.A.R.E. as a much-loved companion from his previous family, but they had run out of options to keep him any longer when they could not find pet-friendly housing. Sully was quite unsure of shelter life during his first days with us back in October, but he slowly opened up to our staff and revealed just how huge his heart is. We have all been deeply moved by Sully’s resilience here after losing his first home, and we know that he has a bright future ahead in his second chapter with a new family.

Sully will do best in an environment without cats, but he might be able to live with another compatible dog friend (our dog team is happy to chat more about this). If a 64-lb Sharpei/Pittie chunky-faced snuggly lap dog has been on your wish list, good boy Sully is your guy!
